I have been scouring the internet for earning income online, and I have come across a lot of sites, which I intend to review in my blog. Today, I will write about one such site, namely Swag Bucks. It's a US based site that gives you free coupons, gift cards, even paypal cash nowadays, for simple tasks such as searching the internet, surveys, watching videos etc.
Is it a scam?
No, it is not. In fact, it ranks as one of the best rewards site. It has been up for quite a long time, and has proved to be genuine.
Ok, but is it still worth my time?
That depends on how much time you're willing to invest, and how much expectations you have from this. And also, on your location. If you're from the USA, or UK, (or even Australia, or Ireland), Swag Bucks has a lot of opportunities for you. But if you're not from one of those countries, you still have hope, (if your country is listed in their site, that is. I know India is also included now, so yay! for Indian users). For further explanation of time-money dependence, I'll explain it better, in terms of how you can actually use this site. Simply read on the following section.
How can I earn those rewards and gifts that you're talking about?
Swag Bucks uses a token system, called SBs, or swag bucks (literally), which can be redeemed for those gifts and rewards. On signup, I remember getting 150-200 SBs for simply roaming around the site for 5 minutes. There was a signup bonus, an email confirmation bonus, Swag Button installation bonus, Information completing bonus, etc. So you are good to go immediately after signup. Next, we have the regular tasks, such as surveys, watching videos, offers etc. These offers and tasks are all listed on the home page of Swag Bucks. So, if you're interested, or have time on your hands, do check them all out.
You may have heard at a lot of places why people dislike surveys. They get disqualified early, there is hardly any survey that matches their profile etc etc. But these surveys are one of the highest paying tasks in the market. You get straight 50-100 SBs for just one survey. 2-3 more surveys and you're ready to redeem your first gift card. So, it's worth a try. What's more, if you click on a survey, and are disqualified, Swag Bucks gives you 1 SB for trying. Also, one tip for all those upset with the survey system. Surveys are there for companies to gauge a product's relevance in the market, the interests of customers, get a whiff of the trend in the market. If your profile has "Clueless Teen with No Interest in your brand" written all over, then you are definitely not going to get those 100 SBs. Be smart, show your best picture, and give a reason through your profile and answers on why the company should be interested in listening to your opinions.
The easiest task on Swag Bucks is to search and win. Keep searching using Swag Bucks, whether you're searching on the site, or on the Swag Bucks search engine. It gets you 5-20 SBs daily, at any random time.
If you're one of those who believe in luck and lottery, then there's an option of Swag Stakes, which is kind of like sweepstakes. Another one is the hourly random winner, where each hour a random user gets 1000 SBs. The catch here is that the user is not notified, so you have to stay on the site every hour. Many lucky winners claimed their prize when they were picked, but mostly users were unaware and lost their golden chance. There is however, a remedial to this : Swag Hourly, a twitter account posts hourly swag winners, so if you want to get notified when your name is announced, check on this account for more details.
